The challenge that I chose to imagine was opening my own preschool from home because it is something that I have often considered. The supports that I have in my life would be an enormous help to me in opening a preschool. I know that I would have my parents to help me with anything I would want to make or create for the preschool. They are very creative and imaginative which would be such a help for me. They would also be close to help me if anything was needed quickly or if I needed to have a babysitter in the future. My husband would be there to handle any of the play structures and would be great at fixing anything. He would also support me in making the decision to have a preschool in our home. My current job has the flexibility for me to continue working for them, while still opening a preschool which would be a great support if my family needed extra funds. My family would all be very supportive and encouraging of my decision and I know that I wouldn't be alone if I did this. I would never feel comfortable starting my own preschool without all of the supports that I currently have.

ReplyDeleteI love the the saying at the end. That is the kind of support we all need in our lives to feel as if we can accomplish anything we set our minds to. Opening your own school in your house would be great. Don't ever give up on your dream and it sounds like the people in your life would do anything to help you. Good luck.

ReplyDeleteI love your challenge. It would be so great to have my own preschool out of my home. There are so many wonderful assets that are available to make your dream a reality. The support of family is always important and they are already people you know and trust. I say go for it if its your dream. I would love to experience working with my husband everyday, but I don't know if I'm ready for that yet.

Those certain family and friends that continue to push and challenge us to be the best that we can be and help us to reach those dreams that we have. Support from family and friends has always been extremely important to me and I can see that it is for you as well. We definitely need the support and having it is always a blessing.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post. I think it is great that you live close to all of your family members, I often wish that was true in my case. In reference to your imagined challenged, I too want to open a child care center. Although, it seems like it would be tough, I know we can do it! Go for it!
